Debbie brings to our child therapy team years of personal and professional knowledge of children and adolescent issues. She has an energetic approach easily received by children, adolescents and parents alike. As a mother of three young children, she understand the daily stressors of parenting and provides parental guidance and coaching to effectively manage emotional and behavioral concerns.      
 
Debbie spent six years as a school social worker in the Woodland District 50 school system. She has extensive knowledge of special education laws and process. She specializes in treating social-emotional problems , improving self esteem , building social skills, assertiveness training , and array of coping skills including feeling identification, anger management and anxiety reducing techniques. Debbie also co-facilitates a social skills group for middle school age boys called "Discovery".
