Yoga for Depression
Yoga can be a wonderful complement to the traditional treatment of depression (medication and psychotherapy.) Through breathing techniques and simple yogic postures we can literally pump energy into ourselves, temporarily lifting the heaviness of depression. Then we can see our situation more clearly and see the actions that we must take to find our way back to health.
This workshop will introduce you to these simple techniques that can be used on a daily basis. Their benefits are immediate and effective. Come and learn how you can take control of your mind and your body and bring yourself back into a state of balance.
