Saira is an accomplished and versatile mental health professional with over ten years of experience. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Rosalind Franklin University in 2011 and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Saira has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds in the public and private sector and the healthcare industry. Due to her various work experiences and strong understanding of numerous mental health disorders, she has a multifaceted and practical therapeutic skillset to help her clients with the issues such as addiction, PTSD, sexual trauma, ADHD, relationships, major depression, anxiety, OCD, personality disorders, and many more.
Saira aims to help her clients get in touch with their core emotions, create their own narrative, find their truth, and become their authentic selves. By using different therapeutic modalities and teaching her client’s self-efficacy skills, Saira empowers her clients to be self-sufficient to lead a balanced lifestyle. She is currently working as a Clinical Supervisor at the Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center, where she supervises other counselors and provides therapy to clients in Lake and Cook County. In addition, she enjoys yoga, art, dance, hiking, and traveling outside the office.
